The international DMEC Accelerator consists of seven innovation projects, covering the entire trajectory from concept to commercial deployment of marine energy solutions. In these projects, DMEC leads several groups of research institutes, technology developers and industry partners in the support of many technologies. Developers receive technology- and business support, are granted access to test facilities, are supported to apply standards and certification and enabled to get in touch with investors, policy makers and end users. We bring the potential of all these projects together by stimulating a collaborative approach to accelerate marine energy development.

Marine Energy Alliance (MEA)

Marine Energy Alliance (MEA) aims to progress the technical and commercial maturity level of early-stage marine energy technology companies, with the overall goal of reducing the risk of device failure in subsequent demonstration phases.

Project lead: DMEC, project manager Daphne Linzell
