DMEC collaborates with various partners to identify, explore and realise tailored solutions using innovative marine energy technologies.

Our partners include:

European Space Agency (ESA)

Together with ESA, we foster the development and demonstration of space-utilising applications relevant to the marine energy sector, and enabling technical and business cross sectoral innovation leading to greener energy.

The Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP)

To explore, promote and implement sustainable water and marine energy solutions worldwide, we work closely together with NWP.

Association of Dutch Suppliers in the Offshore Energy Industry (IRO)

DMEC collaborates with IRO to exploit synergies between the marine energy and offshore sector regarding technology development, co-location and aligning the supply chain.

Marine Energy Ambassador Platform

Next to our partner network, we are currently building on our Marine Energy Ambassador Platform. Representatives from governments, offshore companies and investors are invited to become a member of this platform, getting unique insights in the emerging marine energy sector, access to best practices and opportunities for promising collaborations.

"In our search for a new sustainable energy mix we tend to forget the huge potential of marine energy. Tidal, wave, OTEC and salinity gradient however offer major opportunities, both for the Dutch market as well as for export. IRO strongly supports the effort to explore the full potential of marine energy solutions."
