On the 10th and 11th of October, we will host the second edition of the Marine Energy Pavilion at the Ocean Energy Exhibition & Conference at the Rai Convention Centre in Amsterdam. This event draws over 600 exhibitors from around the world, and has 12,000 visitors annually. The exhibitors display their technologies, solutions and projects regarding ocean energy, including oil and gas, and offshore wind. This year is the tenth installment of the OEEC2017. The theme of this year's event is Transformation Through Collaboration. Watch a video on DMEC's perspective on this theme below.
Last year, the Marine Energy Pavilion brought together 9 marine energy exhibitors, including technology developers, test facilities, and network organisations. This year, we want to repeat last year's success and showcase Dutch projects and innnovations. We are joined by 13 marine energy technology developers, research institutes, test facilities, and startups.
During the conference, we will co-host the Marine Energy Event together with the Dutch Energy from Water Association (EWA). Dutch and international speakers will present the state of the art of testing, certification and financing regarding marine energy technologies. This side event will be held on the second exhibition day, from 12.30 till 18.00h. The FORESEA project's fourth call will be opened during the event. See the video below for a taster of the event!
